Security Camera

While volunteering in a NYC classroom for programming and robotics, I started tinkering on my own with RaspberryPi projects. My first project was creating a Security Camera for my apartment. The script is written in python and calculates the number of pixels which change over a 2 second window to detect motion. From there, an email alert is triggered, notifying the resident [me] that motion was detected, along with 10 images from the event.
