A lot of times, when I’m down, confused, lonely or just don’t know what to do I write. What I find myself writing is the Word and what the Word says about me. Tonight I sat down an I pieced together about two pages of scriptures. I am printing this out for myself. I’ll pull it out, maybe everyday, and remind myself what the Word says about me. You should write your own or feel free to use mine.
Bless the Lord, O my soul, And all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget none of His benefits; Who pardons all your iniquities, Who heals all my diseases; Who redeems my life from the pit,?Who crowns me with lovingkindness and compassion; Who satisfies my years with good things,?So that my youth is renewed like the eagle. (Is. 41:10) As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are God’s ways higher than my ways and God’s thoughts than my thoughts. For as the rain and snow come down from the heavens, and return not there again, but water the earth and make it bring forth and sprout, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, So shall Gods word be that out from His mouth: it shall not return to me, but it shall accomplish that which God please and purposed, and it shall prosper in the thing for which God sent it. Therefore, I take up the full armor of God, so that I will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to I will stand firm. I will Stand firm, having girded my loins with truth, and I have put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod MY feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace, and in addition to all, I take up the shield of faith with which I will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
